The Live Wire Band is an offshoot of The Loose Cannon Band. Live Wire is instrumental band that works all over the Philadelphia and New Jersey  area. The Live Wire Band performs as a quartet with two guitars, bass, and drums. If you have a restricted budget or limited stage space, Live Wire can also work as a trio with guitar, bass, and drums.

The Live Wire Band plays a wide range of New Orleans funk to pop tunes to light jazz to R&B and bossa nova styled music.  Live Wire plays music that is perfect for clubs, restaurants, wineries, private parties and events, and music festivals!

Our funky New Orleans party music repertoire is fun to dance and listen to! We play classic New Orleans covers including: The Meters, John Scofield, Dr. John, and more!

Our soft jazz repertoire of jazz standards includes the music of: Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Wes Montgomery, and more! We also add an elegant ambience to your venue with the light bossa nova’s of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto, and more.

Our contemporary pop song repertoire includes: The Beatles, The Police, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, John Mayer, and much more!

Meet The Live Wire Band

Jeff Rauso

Jeff has been playing guitar for more than 30 years and studied many styles and genres of music in a diverse group of musical influences. Jeff has studied and performed with guitar legend Robben Ford (Miles Davis), Marc Muller (Shania Twain), and currently studies with Jon Herrington (Steely Dan).

Dale Storer

Dale is a local bass player for longer than he'd like to admit. He plays many different styles from Jazz to Funk to Musicals to metal. Dale performs in many bands throughout the Philly to Jersey Shore scene including; Groovalosity, The Loose Cannon Band, and The Live Wire Band.

Dave Bermingham

Dave has a degree in Jazz and Commercial music and has been an active musician and educator on the Philly scene since 1990. from Temple University in Philadelphia. Dave currently leads his own funk band, Groovelocity, and plays guitar in other bands including; Cornerstone, The Loose Cannon Band, and Live Wire.

Rob Brosh has been a college music history and drumset faculty professor at a number of universities. Rob plays drumset in many musical styles and has led the Loose Cannon Band throughout the Philadelphia/Jersey shore areas.
